The Royal Queensland Show, affectionately known as “Ekka” is an initiative of the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA).

Attracting more than 400,000 people over 10 days, the Show sees the Queensland community at large, come together to celebrate the best of Queensland.

With more than 10,000 animals, 23,000 competition entries, a smorgasbord of award-winning food and wine and hours of free entertainment, the Royal Queensland Show epitomises ‘city meets country’.

The main reason people go to Ekka is to spend time with their family.

    The Ekka is awesome – Queensland’s largest annual event with close to 400 000 in attendance. Add in Australia’s largest beef event -Ekka Beef Week – and the 14 days of Ekka is a marketer’s dream!
