The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is the sole remaining participation legacy event of the highly successful 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and is run on one of the most spectacular courses in the world, taking in Sydney’s iconic landmarks, providing all participants with a unique opportunity to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge - traffic free. 

The festival is accessible for runners/joggers/walkers of all abilities and plays host to the:-

  • Blackmores Sydney Marathon
  • Blackmores Half Marathon
  • Blackmores 10k Bridge Run
  • Blackmores 3.5k Family Fun Run

With 3 of the 4 runs ending at the prestigious Sydney Opera House finish line.

The event is Australia’s largest running festival with over 33,000 participants from over 66 countries and has a dedicated 3 hour live broadcast shown across Network Ten, Eurosport Asia and Japan and China’s largest terrestrial TV channels.

In addition to races, the festival is complimented by a three-day Expo and a post-race recovery village playing host to over fifty thousand participants and supporters providing excellent opportunities for direct consumer engagement.

The event is a hugely successful fundraiser supporting a large number of local and national based charities. In 2017, the event helped to raise over $1,500,000 for charitable organisations. The total funds raised since the events inception now stands at over $18 million.
